Garden Tower Defense trade analyzer: see what people really offer for a unit.
What it does: a small program on your PC watches the Trade Matchmaking listings in your Roblox,
reads every offer for the unit you choose, adds up the item values and shows the average, median, lowest and highest offer
on your dashboard, live.
It only reads listings. It never clicks View, never accepts, sends or creates trades.
1 What you need
A Windows PC (10 or 11) with Roblox installed. Mac isn't supported.
Your username and password for this dashboard (from the person you got access from).
About 10 minutes for the first setup.
2 Sign in
Open the dashboard link you were given and click Sign in.
Enter your username and password.
Your account works on one device at a time. Signing in somewhere else signs the other device out.
Don't share your password: if someone else uses it, you keep getting kicked out, and the owner can see it.
3 Download your collector
On your dashboard, find the My collector box and click Download my collector.
Open the downloaded gtd-collector-YOURNAME.zip, right-click it and choose Extract All….
Put the folder somewhere easy, e.g. your Desktop. Don't run it from inside the zip.
The folder contains your personal key. Don't share it. If you download again, you get a new key and the old folder stops working.
That's also the fix if you think someone else got your folder.
4 Start it (first time)
Open the extracted folder and double-click START_COLLECTOR.bat.
If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway.
The first time, it installs Python and what it needs. This takes a few minutes and you may see a Python installer pass by. Just wait.
When it says connected to server, it's ready. Keep this black window open.
Next time you only double-click START_COLLECTOR.bat, and it starts in a few seconds.
5 Get Roblox ready
Open Roblox and join Garden Tower Defense. Stay in the lobby.
Maximize the Roblox window (or full screen) and keep it visible on your main screen.
Close any open menus in the game. The bot opens the trading menus by itself.
6 Pick a unit and start
On your dashboard, under My units, type the exact unit name (e.g. Nullshade) and click Start tracking.
Hands off: the bot now moves your mouse in Roblox. It clicks Trade → Trade Matchmaking → Filter, sets the filter to your unit and starts reading listings.
Watch your dashboard: the numbers and listings appear within a minute and keep updating.
You can track up to 2 units at once; your collector takes turns between them.
7 Reading your dashboard
Average / Median
What people offer per one of your unit. If a listing wants 3× your unit, the offer is divided by 3. These are advertised offers, not completed sales.
≥ sign
Values like "1.3K+" on the value list are minimums, so the result is "at least".
Valid
Listings that want only your unit and where every item was recognized. Only these count.
Mixed requests
The poster wants your unit plus something else, so the offer can't be split fairly. Shown, but not counted.
Unresolved
Something wasn't recognized, or an item has no value yet (new units). Never counted as 0. You can type the right name on an unknown item to teach your collector.
Repeat sightings
The same listing seen again after a refresh. It's counted only once.
Window
Choose the time range for the statistics (15 min … all time).
8 Pause, stop, emergency
Pause / Resume / Stop on your dashboard control your collector only.
Emergency stop: hold Ctrl + Alt + Q on your PC. It stops at once. Press Resume on the dashboard to continue.
If you move the mouse or switch windows while it runs, it pauses itself so it never fights you. Press Resume when you're done.
To quit completely, close the black collector window.
While it scans, it uses your mouse in Roblox, so don't use that PC at the same time. Best: let it run while you're away,
or on a spare PC, and check your dashboard from your phone.
9 Problems?
Dashboard says "Your collector is offline"
The black window isn't running, or it lost connection. Start START_COLLECTOR.bat again. If the dashboard link changed, download the collector again.
"Roblox is not the active window"
Click on Roblox once, then press Resume on the dashboard.
"navigation problem - paused"
Close open menus in Roblox, go back to the lobby, then press Resume.
"expected exactly one tile for …"
The unit name wasn't found. Check the spelling exactly as in the game (e.g. Gold Golem, not golden golem).
Many "unknown" items
Normal for rare or new units. Type the correct name on an unknown item in Unresolved; your collector learns that icon.
Setup failed / Python error
Install Python 3.12 from python.org (tick "Add to PATH"), then run START_COLLECTOR.bat again.
Signed out "on another device"
Your account was used somewhere else. If that wasn't you, tell the owner to give you a new password.
Using automation in Roblox may go against Roblox's or the game's rules, even though this tool only reads listings. Use it at your own risk.
